SENIOR, KIMI HARADA

On August 21st Kimi Harada was born as the younger sister to her 3 year old brother in Osaka, Japan. But the girl has few and fleeting memories of her home country since their parents decided to move out of Japan to start a private practice when she was five. She does however remember the few friends she had made as a child, and how even though she was moving, how they promised to stay in touch with each other. For a little while, the letters came every week without fail. But not more than two years later her communication with her friends in Japan trickled out to nothing. Even though it was becoming easier to talk to people across the globe, their interest still died out.

Still, Kimi wasn't entirely alone in her new home country. Sure it was a huge adjustment and she got her fair share of teasing and taunting but she was strong enough to fight back and though she was called names and taunted, she would call the little shits names and jeer just as harsh and biting right back. Admittedly with a fist or kick sometimes. Though her actions were not acceptable, they were rarely reprimanded since not only were the actions seen as trivial, she was also a teacher's pet who was already starting to bend the truth to get off the hook.

Despite her being the resident academic nut with an short temper, the girl made a few friends. Though many of them were fleeting. The girl didn't realize that the time that her proud, braggart attitude begging to be the center of attention would drive people away as much as it did. But heaven have mercy on anyone who tried to steal her spotlight. Kimi had to be the best in everything. Sports, drawing, math, reading, and she had to have the prettiest clothes and coolest school supplies of any kid. She wasn't happy unless she was on top. Her parents told her she was perfect, and Kimi could prove it at school.

The superiority complex continued into middle school and Kimi grew increasingly distant from her peers because of it. Very few dared to approach her, much less want to be her friend. Yet, when they did they found the rumors that the girl was a narcissistic, controlling bitch turned out to be exaggerated. Craving companionship, the girl started to lie to get people to like her. Though every grin at stupid jokes was forced and if one of her 'friends' ever did better than she did the girl's facade crumbled and her spiteful self came out to lash against the perpetrator.

Friendships just weren't worth putting the excessive time into. She was only going to get ultimately betrayed by her 'friends' and not one of them actually seemed to genuinely like her. They liked the lies she fed them and Kimi was tired of telling people what they wanted to hear. During her high school years, the girl simply wanted to focus on academics and volunteer work, mostly at her parent's private practice. They wanted Kimi to follow in their footsteps as doctors putting a huge amount of pressure on her to be perfect. The girl was far from resistant. She found the body fascinating and the pressure allowed her to soar over her peers.

When she turned 14 the girl was ready to put all the middle school drama behind her when her parents decided to send her to Regency Academy. In the later half of her freshman year, Kimi met her first boyfriend. He was an exceptionally kind guy. One who made Kimi question herself for once in her life. She had to ask if she was really good enough for him. If she was going to hurt him eventually. She hated that. Just his very presence and compassion made her hate herself and made her feel weak. The relationship started to turn south when Kimi questioned why he was being so nice. What did he want from her? When he didn't give Kimi the answers she wanted, she broke off the relationship.

Since then she's never gotten seriously invested in a relationship. She started to become a heart breaker. Playing with people's emotions has become a game to her. No one is worth actually putting her heart into but it sure as hell is fun for Kimi to lie and fuck with them. It's an incredibly, sick, twisted way to exact revenge on the many she held grudges against. Outside of getting into relationships only when it suits her, the girl has kept her academic performance high. Kimi is on track to enter into pre med after high school and aims to graduate as valedictorian. While the competition is tough, the girl is determined and thinks that nothing can stop her, the stone cold Kimi Harada.


- She absolutely hates being called Kimi and instead goes by Kim. She thinks Kimi sounds childish so the only people allowed to call her by her full name is her family.
- Kimi plays piano but she thinks it's a silly hobby so she never tells anyone about it. The only reason she picked it up in the first place was because her parents forced her into it as a child to make her more 'well rounded.'
- In her fifth grade writing class Kimi got a C. It's been her most embarrassing folly by far so she never tells anyone about it. She even managed to nab the report card and edit it before her parents could find it.
- Kimi started learning krav maga as a child and is now a black belt. She'll 'kindly' demonstrate a hip throw on someone if they doubt her ability.
- As intelligent as she is, Kimi's memory is a fickle thing that will remember the nerve innervation to every muscle of the body but forget things she views as more menial like making calls or sending emails. Because of this the girl writes endless reminder notes and scatters them around her dorm to be ironically forgotten about.
