[attr="class","nioa"] [attr="class","btre"] words: 292 tags: open notes: please join people! [attr="class","okm"] "Lately I've been, I've been losing sleep…"On the freshly cut fields of summer grass was an old worn bench had that seen years of use by various students from all walks of life, from being an emergency love seat to a makeshift bed for the drunk teen. Today on this a warm summer's morning, it was occupied by a seventeen year old who's only apparent distinction was pink dyed hair. "Dreaming about the things that we could be…"If anyone asked, Adeline was sick of the losers who complained about being woken up by her guitar as she practiced in the early hours of the Saturday. Here in the school grounds, the trees and sky made far better company and any of her neighbours ever would. The scenery had a calming effect on her, though it was greatly assisted by the waves of acoustic that pulsated around her. Her hazel eyes were unfocused as she stared into the empty air - all of her senses drowned out by the rhythm of her song as her strong vocals joined with the songs of the birds in the trees. "But, baby I've been, I've been praying hard…" A hand flicked up and down with practised ease as Adeline subtly rocked back and forward, feeling the beat soak into her bones. Even though the whips and chains of time seemed to eat at her soul, if there was one thing she could find solace in, it would be the melodic waves of music. In a world where life seemed to never stop dumping so much shit on her shoulders, this was a blissful catharsis where she could entrap herself within... if only for a moment. "Said no more counting dollars, we'll be counting stars…" made [newclass=.btre]margin-right:-200px; transition:.5s;[/newclass]by [newclass=.nioa:hover .btre]margin-right:0;[/newclass] Wolf [newclass=.btre:hover] margin-right:0;[/newclass]o[newclass=.moia]transition:.5s; position:relative;z-index:4;[/newclass]f[newclass=.okm]position:relative;z-index:5;[/newclass] GS[newclass=.nioa:hover .moia]margin-left:-100px;[/newclass]

PARDON ME BUT YOU SAID THAT YOU'D ALWAYS LOVE ME " I CAME TO RegENCY DURING MY VACATION TO HELP YOu FIND YOUr SHIT, Good-BYe!" Liam slammed the door behind him to academy. his supposed best friend had lured him to the campus with the lie of meeting some girls and playing in the athletic center but the good for nothing friend had just come to look for his locker and book bag. Prompting his loud exit from the academy onto the campus grounds.
Aimlessly he wandered from the academy, not wanting to confront his friend until he had to be picked up by his grandparents. keeping his head held high into the air and simply starring to the heavens above. " What a waste of a good day." the boy grumbled trying to find an excuse not to kick his friends ass into the dirt. though his attention focused on the sudden rythmn floating on the wind.
bright eyes falling to the campus below the sky, off a short distance he spotted a familar hang out spot with a pretty cute girl singing and letting her soul out. marching closer he heard her voice better and began to rock his head with the beat. until he came up to the pinkette, tapping his foot with her harmonics as he now stood before the cutie. " this event sold out ?" he asked her, trying to make small talk. she was pretty good with her acoustic and he'd much rather spend his time with her then his jerk friend.

[attr="class","nioa"] [attr="class","btre"] words: 259 notes: o/ [attr="class","okm"]Although muffled by the song, the sound of someone's approaching footsteps grew prominent and Adeline's glazed eyes suddenly grew sharp with focus. A flash of irritation lanced across her face at the intrusion as they watched the boy's figure come into focus. But the girl continued playing her guitar, determined to not let the mood be shattered by the presence of people – although it was a vain attempt because the very notion of not being in solace anymore had already ruined the moment. Keeping an eye trained on the boy she silently hoped for him to continue on his merry way and leave. "Yeah, we'll be counting stars…" There was a very vague familiarity between them that made her wonder if they were in the same year. She was fairly certain that they'd never shared a conversation before. She pasted a false smile on her face as he came closer. Better make first impressions count. Too many of her classmates thought of her as a bitch already. Adeline nodded at his approach and continued running her fingers across the strings, however she did halt in her singing and letting the chords alone fill the silence. It was tempting to reply with a snide, 'Yes. Now leave.' but the desire to make some more friends overrode that urge. "Not to everyone." She shot a wink at him. From appearances alone, he didn't seem to be that bad of a guy. At least he seemed to appreciate her music. "Whatcha doin' out here? Got chased out by a roomie? Like me?"made [newclass=.btre]margin-right:-200px; transition:.5s;[/newclass]by [newclass=.nioa:hover .btre]margin-right:0;[/newclass] Wolf [newclass=.btre:hover] margin-right:0;[/newclass]o[newclass=.moia]transition:.5s; position:relative;z-index:4;[/newclass]f[newclass=.okm]position:relative;z-index:5;[/newclass] GS[newclass=.nioa:hover .moia]margin-left:-100px;[/newclass]

PARDON ME BUT YOU SAID THAT YOU'D ALWAYS LOVE ME WOAH tHIS GIRL TOTaLLY WAS DIGGING HIM, A WINK SHARED WITH LIAM With her first actual words to him. bringing an abrupt end to the wonderful lyrics. the boy might have stuttered with any other girl but the music had him at ease. replying to her in timely fashion, " that's good, I haven't heard acoustic in forever. EVERYONE'S electric NOWADAYS. glad some appreciates the unplugged sound." Liam shared with the girl, having an avast array of music on his mp3 player.
However the pinkette would question what brought him to the campus. being pretty straight on with her guess of why. " something like that, yeah." Liam mused to adeline. figuring now was better then never to introduce himself. " Liam by the way, junior this year." with all the fame the international academy got it was pretty easy to loose someone in the sea of coming and going students. it didn't really SURPRISE him if they hadn't really met up till now.
" what brings you to regency anyways, going for a musical scholarship?" Liam asked miss mallory. INSPECTING her instrument now, enjoying the finish of the material and the gleam of the strings. " i imagine you have that in the bag with that skill and voice though. good enough to be an idol." liam blurted out, so much for being tactful with her. Perhaps because she had stopped singing he had lost his nerve. talking a breath he focused back on the rythmn and smiled to adeline, " no rest for me today huh." he whispered to himself.

[attr="class","nioa"] [attr="class","btre"] words:315 notes: o/ [attr="class","okm"]Brilliant sunshine painted a pleasant glow on her skin, warm but not warm enough for flies to desert their homes in preference for the individual bodies of humans. As such, it was a perfect moment to be lost within oneself without distraction. Yet despite Adeline's awareness of this being the case, something about the unexpected company of the boy seemed to have a restorative effect on her perception towards humanity. And thus her smile increased in genuineness. But perhaps it was shared values which had her warming up to him. "Thanks man. Electric's good, but acoustic's for the win." In the past she had experimented with all sorts of instruments, each with their own individual style of storytelling a song. That included electric guitar, although she didn't seem to connect as much to synthetic noise as to the raw vibrations of string. Adeline nodded only in response to the boy's confirmation of her guess but neglected to say anything. What could she have said in response to be chased out? The feeling may have been mutual, such as her own case. At Liam's introduction, she nodded again. "The name's Adeline. A junior too. No wonder you looked kinda familiar." "Musical scholarship? That's a thing? I dunno really. I'm just here because my old man wants me to get a real education." At this she laughed, albeit humourlessly. The pink haired teen observed Liam's apparent interest in her instrument. When a complement came out of nowhere, she didn't pause in her strumming but did arch an eyebrow. Much to her amusement, the statement seemed to startle the boy as well. "Thanks again. Who knows? Maybe one day I'll be one." She'd never put much thought into that idea, having only learnt guitar for the release of emotions, but it didn't seem too bad of a prospect. "Do you play anything? I reckon you'd be good too."made [newclass=.btre]margin-right:-200px; transition:.5s;[/newclass]by [newclass=.nioa:hover .btre]margin-right:0;[/newclass] Wolf [newclass=.btre:hover] margin-right:0;[/newclass]o[newclass=.moia]transition:.5s; position:relative;z-index:4;[/newclass]f[newclass=.okm]position:relative;z-index:5;[/newclass] GS[newclass=.nioa:hover .moia]margin-left:-100px;[/newclass]

PARDON ME BUT YOU SAID THAT YOU'D ALWAYS LOVE ME Adeline shared the same sentiments with him about the sound of ACOUSTIC. learning that the young musician had tried her luck with the style but PREFERRED the genuine sound. " for the win indeed, cant loose with the sound from the soul." Liam concluded happily. " nice to meet you ade." he to thought she locked FAMILIAR but most people were just a blur to him, though liam DIDN'T want her to be just part of the scenery anymore.
" yeah i DON'T really stick out in class, i DON'T blame you but on the court, THAT'S another story." he stuck his tongue out a bit in a happy display. the boy ABSOLUTELY loved PLAYING all the sports the academy had to offer. enjoying anything that he could show off his speed. though it made him happy to meet another student in the same year as him. after all he'd have a pretty low friend count if his buddy DIDN'T make this trip up to him.
ADELINE EXPLAINED TO THEM THAT she hadn't checked into scholarships for her passion. caught a bit by SURPRISE, it would be a perfect chance to find a talent agent. " Can't blame him, seems like you need to graduate to go anywhere in the world." Liam mused, her old man was pretty smart. hearing the school girl comment on possibly becoming an idol. " I'd support you if you tried." Liam mused shyly for a moment until he was asked if he played an instrument.
" i know how to play the piano...poorly." nothing think to high of his talent on the instrument.

Post by JOEY WILDE on Jun 4, 2015 22:51:41 GMT -6
Going out. That's something Joey's roommate had wanted him to do. Pfft. Yeah right. All that guy wanted to do was get him out of the room. It wasn't hard to tell. The man had some plates out and shit, was probably expecting a date. Of course that's something Joey can deal with. He'd probably do something similar if he was bringing over a girl into his dorm room. He wasn't sure if girls were allowed in guy's dorms anyways, or vice versa, so he probably wouldn't try. ANYWAYS, He decided to follow through and head out anyways. Guys had to stick out for each other, right?
By then Joey had started wandering the campus grounds, looking for something to do. Hell, by now anything would work for him. Then it happened. He started to hear a voice. And an instrument, both sounded very pleasant to the ears. Deciding to get curious, he headed towards the source of the music and after making his way there, he spotted her. It was a girl, Probably around the same age as him, if not a year or so younger. There was a guy sitting next to her, but Joey figured that he was also drawn in by the music as well. "Say, that's not a bad voice you got there. Any chance you're in the music class? I don't exactly remember everyone in there." He didn't want to sound like a douche, just in case she was in the same class as him.
The bench was packed full of the other two student's asses, and Joey wanted to sit down nearby, so taking his chance while he had it, he sat down on a nearby tree stump. It wasn't exactly the most comfortable places to sit, but it would work. Hopefully the two didn't mind him intruding on their little conversation, or whatever they were up to either.

[attr="class","nioa"] [attr="class","btre"] words: 367 notes: o/ [attr="class","okm"]Her initial reaction to Liam's implied prowess 'on the court' was to raise an eyebrow, as her felony-oriented mind lurched towards courts in relation to law. But her flicker of surprise passed as her mind withdrew into more mundane matters. A sports court. Of course. As this realisation came, the girl's head tilted to the side, as though in an attempt to imagine the boy as a basketballer or a soccer player. "That's… nice," she remarked for a lack of a better observation. Adeline herself wasn't particularly a fan of exhaustive physical activity – she'd received plenty of that in past street fights. The seventeen year old dismissed Liam's support for her father's decision with little fanfare though her expression darkened considerably. "Whatever you say." Armed with the knowledge that her sire was a vile and disgusting man, Adeline was certain that his motivation was not for her own benefit, but rather to ensure a steady supply of income for him to drink into oblivion. At another compliment, she averted her gaze. Someone who didn't know her very well would've called it sheepishness, but Adeline was not one to easily be embarrassed. Used to receiving so very little of it, she simply didn't know how to handle praise. The hazel orbs returned however, when Liam revealed his skill as a pianist, or rather, lack thereof. She was spared the obligation to reassure the boy that he was fine when the voice of another came. Immediately, her head snapped around, eyes alert at the unexpectedness of the arrival. Her gaze ran across his figure, taking in all his characteristics with more criticalness than she'd spared Liam. The reason was that the newcomer seemed to be older (and hence more formidable) than the sweeter boy she'd found Liam to be. Regardless, the pinkette inclined her head in an affirmative. "Yeah. I sit at the back. Are you in there too?" Adeline kept an eye on the new boy as he found a place on a tree stump. Why did it seem that everyone was attracted to her music? Her song ended as her strumming came to a close. PARDON ME BUT YOU SAID THAT YOU'D ALWAYS LOVE ME her cute APPEARANCE began to diminish with the mention of her parents. Perhaps it was a SENSITIVE matter for her, his own parents were supportive and pretty great to him. Liam wouldn't pressure her to talk more about it. it was her business after all, he had no right to butt in. before he could settle anything with her though company would arrive nearby. an older blonde compared to the two
the lad seemed to ignore Liam as his comment was directed towards the pinkette. internally screaming that ' I EXIST.' inside his head. keeping quiet while joey questioned adeline. hearing that she sat in the back of class. He would have known if he had kept up with his instrument. however he left such ENDEAVORS behind for grades and sports. the musician before them willing to play any song.
tilting his head to the girl he offered a suggestion, keeping himself in the CONVERSATION. " If we walk over to the band room, we can make this a duet. I AT LEAST can keep up with the RHYTHM." Liam offered to adeline. even if he hadn't played in a few years he wanted to show adeline what he was worth on his instrument as she seemed to appreciate musical talent.
