 Lacie is so close to finishing moving in. Her luggage hadn't been too bad, and the furniture... well, okay she hadn't actually brought any but her room is fine without the extra stuff. It's nice enough on its own and minimalist is some kind of growing trend right? If anyone asks, Lacie'll just preach her new minimalist agenda and leave it at that. Which only leaves the plant. For the one thing Lacie had wanted in her living space for the year, she'd asked for a nice big house plant to add some nature to her quarters. Be one with the outside, feel closer to the environment, that sorta thing. It'd been all fine and dandy when she'd had people with her, some thoughtful students with enough time on their hands to help a froshie out, but she didn't want to inconvenience them too much, which was why she shooed them away just a few minutes ago. "It's fine, I can handle the rest!" she'd ignorantly proclaimed. But then she attempted to lift the mini tree she'd gotten, and quickly realized her mistake. Stupid stupid stupid! she chants in her head. Pacing back and forth with her face scrunched up in frustration, she looks around for anything to assist her. No convenient plant carriers? Lifts? Something? And this is supposed to be some kind of high class school. Hm... well, some guy who looks like he's doing nothing ought to do the trick just fine! Prancing over without any inhibitions, Lacie goes right up to the blond and starts chattering, taking no notice of whether he actually is doing nothing. "Hey hey! You don't seem like you're doing anything so you gotta have time to help me out, right? It's just something real quick and it'll probably not take too long unless you slack off." Or he can't lift the plant either. But she hasn't actually considered that possibility yet. [ WORDS idk | NOTES HOPEFULLY THIS IS OK] |

Nicolas was currently talking to his good friend Bill. They weren’t talking about anything too interesting just conversing really when all of a sudden some brunette decided to interrupt them. Nicolas paused from his mid sentence and the two of them both looked over towards the girl. The blonde didn’t at all hide the fact that he was looking her up and down. To him she was a small breasted plain girl he had never seen before. She actually looked like a freshman.
The blonde let out a brief laugh as he looked to Bill and the two exchanged a ‘what the hell’ expression before he turned back to face the chick again.
“Yeah, sure I’ll help you little girl whatcha need?” he asked as he crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow at her. Bill stayed silent and just decided to watch this little scene unfold.

Lacie couldn't care less about the look exchanged between the, she now sees, two boys nor the gaze that regarded her critically. The only thing she hones on in is whether he'll help or not. A bit antsy in her place, she's about a second away from tapping her feet or something equally as expressive when the first word of agreement leaves the blond's mouth. "Oh great okay come over here!" she jumps in, hardly waiting for him to finish. Grabbing his arm, she looks over her shoulder to his friend in a what she hopes appears to be apologetic manner. "I gotta borrow him for a sec, so I hope you don't miss 'im too much!" Though she supposes he could come if he wants, but eh. A small shrug and she neglects to add this. There's bigger and better things that need to be done! Dragging the guy to where her plant is situated, she releases him and gestures to her greenery emphatically. "So you could lift this up, right? ...right?" Glancing in the direction of her dorm building, she continues, "I gotta get it to my room but, well, I can't."[ WORDS idk | NOTES djfg i didn't want to end it with her dragging him away so hopefully this is fine OTL] |

This girl didn’t have a single shy bone in her body. Nicolas actually frowned when she decided to touch him and begin dragging him off. He was surprised she even bothered to say anything to Bill considering how blatantly rude she was being. But for the time being it was entertaining for him. He had to admit it wasn’t often he met someone so oblivious.
“So you could lift this up, right?” She asked and added another ‘right’ for further emphasis. He couldn’t help but scoff in response and shake his head as he looked down to the plant she was trying to get him to carry. ‘Give me a break’ he thought to himself impatiently, but he easily got a rather entertaining idea.
“Are you sure you can’t lift it? Why should I believe you?” he questioned smoothly and offered a slight crooked smile. “This day and age is all about ‘women’ power I hear so go on try to lift it.”
ooc: It's fine, you can make your posts as short or as long as you want. As long as it's not one sentence I'll be fine.

...huh? He doesn't believe she can't? What's with that? Why would she go through the effort of hauling him over here if she could just do it herself? Lacie does not understand his train of thought at all. Frowning, her hands find their way to her hips. "Did I not tell you I already tried?" Twitching her lips, she lets a sigh breeze past. "For one I don't actually know the best way how because I couldn't get my fingers underneath it and trying to grip the rim just didn't work. I almost broke it because it was too heavy which is what you're supposed to be preventing, actually." Honestly, if he can do it she doesn't see why he can't be not-difficult about it. Unless... oooh. Was she wrong to assume he could? Man that's gotta be embarrassing to admit, she ought to put him out of his misery. "Can you not lift it after all...? The brown haired girl instantly frowned at him as she placed her hands against her hips. But Nicolas was unfazed and simply waited. If she wasn’t going to do what he wanted then he had no time for her.
“Did I not tell you I already tried?” She returned accusingly and then went onto explain how she didn’t know how to lift it. Nicolas’ expression became less friendly as he continued to listen to her explanation.
After all of that talking…she ended up questioning whether or not he could even lift it. Did she seriously think because he wasn’t jumping to her aid that he couldn’t pick it up?
“I can lift it just fine, but the fact that you don’t even want to give it a try offends me. What are you sexist? You think just because I’m a guy I’m obligated to do your bidding? Ha, get the f*** off your high horse,” Nicolas returned cockily and actually heard Bill laugh a bit in the background. His friend’s amusement caused him to glance back at him and roll his eyes.

Wait wait wait what? The guy starts to throw accusations at her and Lacie is quite honestly dumbfounded. Sure she had kinda assumed he'd help her since he, you know, said he would, but if he actually wasn't okay with it he could have just said so! Does he really want her to try that badly? Yeesh, there's better ways of saying so. She hadn't exactly complied the first time, admittedly, but this seems a little extreme to her. But c'est la vie as they say. "Well no, not exactly but if that's how you took it, uh sorry about that." Not the most heartfelt apology she's ever given but if he really got offended those hadn't been her intentions, she is fairly apologetic. And well, whatever she might as well just do it if he's making such a fuss. Even if he does have a bad attitude she does need his help still, and no one else seems available either. She sighs again. They've come this far, might as well make it all worth it. "How's this? I'll show you I can't do it and then will you help me? I'm really not lying." Crouching down and wrapping her arms around the pot, hugging it pretty much, Lacie attempts to stand back up (use your legs, not your back, as her parents always told her). Unfortunately the hugging strategy works about as well as the last two she tried, and after lifting it maybe an inch off the ground the girl has to drop the thing and collapse backwards. "Phew, see? I can't do it all." Guh her arms hurt, maybe she should start working out or something 'cause this is torture. (Also maybe then she wouldn't need the help of jerks.) “Well no, not exactly but if that’s how you took it, uh sorry about that.”
Nicolas didn’t care if she sounded apologetic or not. The fact that she was actually apologizing to him almost made him laugh, but he restrained himself because he wasn’t done with her yet. Bill was still standing in the background with his phone out and he knew where this was going…he had seen his friend Nicolas troll girls that he wasn’t interested in dating.
“How’s this? I’ll show you I can’t do it and then will you help me? I’m really not lying.” The girl explained and Nicolas gave her a simple nod of approval.
“All right, deal,” he told her but there was something sinister within his tone. His brown eyes watched as she crouched down and began positioning herself to try and pick the plant up. While her attention was away from him Nicolas silently signaled Bill to come over and pull out his camera. Then with a smug grin…he walked directly behind the girl and reached down with every intention to grab the end of her skirt and pull it up far enough to reveal her underwear for a snap shot.
However, his damned plan was ruined when Kevin suddenly intervene. “Oh, hey!” he shouted rather loud as he rushed forward and smacked Nicolas’ hand away. Nicolas instantly shot him a death glare and mouthed the words ‘what the f*** man’. Kevin ignored his response and like the gallant knight he was actually lowered down to pick the plant up himself.
“Er…A lady shouldn’t be doing this…here let me…uffh…help you,” he grumbled as he struggled to lift the heavy potted plant up. Nicolas couldn’t believe this f***ing idiot. How dare he ruin his fun.
“Still trying to get laid I see. Oops, I mean what a gentlemen you are.” Nicolas replied snarky to his friend and instantly received a glare from Kevin. His stupid a** friend just couldn’t keep it between his legs for five seconds could he?
“Where would you like this?” Kevin ignored Nicolas once more, but was making an awful lot of grunting noises.
