Peridot was born the middle child in her family. Her old brother (Joshua) was given constant praise for everything he ever did, especially his going off to get his Law Degree, and her younger sister (Gemma) was constantly being spoiled by her parents. So what was a middle child to do? Find a hobby and stick to it. Unlucky for those around her, Peridot picked up painting and chemistry as her chosen hobbies; normally these wouldn't have been so bad if Peridot wasn't using everything as a canvas and wasn't making every chemistry project one about making things explode.
When Peridot reached the age of fourteen, her parents noticed she was lagging a bit behind in the friend department, their daughter wanting to spend more time on her studies than friendships. They made the completely logical and not rash at all decision to send Peridot to Regency Academy- hoping having a school where she was around other students constantly, and forced to have a roommate, would make her more social- and it did to an extent. Peridot, after a while, noticed she needed friends for group assignments and to help with her larger hobby works.
She's now spent two years at the academy, the girl being more social than ever. She knows this is her last year to settle down before she needs to actually begin thinking about college though she already knows what she's going for.

Dress Code: Generally Peridot wears whatever she got in the thrift store. She's not one to care about style and just cares if it makes her feel good.... which generally means she looks strange to others. On her feet are generally heels expect when she's working in the lab or on a project, then she's in steel toed boots for protection.
