❝ | DURING MY LAST DAYS WILL YOU BE THE ONE TO HOLD ME CLOSE? EVEN THOUGH LIFE SEEMS SO WORTHLESS, I STILL WANT IT TO BE YOU | ❞ |
Reiko sighed as she wrapped a cool towel around her neck, allow it's cold touch sink into her skin. She had pushed herself extra hard today. She recalled beating everyone today on the mat, it had been almost boring. But she tried to tell herself otherwise, she believed that all they needed to do was improve, maybe one day they could come up to her level. The main reason why she couldn't blame them was because she had started aikido at the age of 5 through her whole life. Reaching for the towel she picked up the edge, gently rubbing it against her sweaty face. She closed her eyes, allowing her heart rate to slow down. While she had been practicing she had allowed herself no breaks! Or else she would have gotten distracted, and allowed her muscles to cramp up, she had learned this the hard way. Walking out of the girls locker room she reached for her hair tie which had been holding her purple, maroon hair up in a high pony tail. Releasing it carefully she shook her hair, running her fingers through it trying to work out all the tiny tangles.
Her sea foam green colored eyes scanned the gym. Since it was getting to be around the time of 6:00 people were beginning to pack there things up to head for home. Reiko on the other hand had plans. She had thought about allowing herself to watch the basketball players practice, watching the way they played and criticizing them. Regency did not have a very good team so she had once asked if she could sign up but was turned down all because she was a girl. Those sexist boys. She thought with annoyance. That was another thing, she was not too fond of boys, even though she was completely straight she still found a way to not fall in love with guys. Although being her stubborn self she had made a way where it was easy. She started to walk again, heading for the bleachers, and taking a seat in the back. She narrowed her eyes as she watched the volley ball girls which currently had control over the court. Compared to the boy basketball team the girls volleyball team was out standing. Every movement they made was so graceful and thought out. In her mind girls were angels which were being nagged by devils (boys). She let a gentle smile onto her face as she watched them. It was good to see guys out of the picture.
Once she saw them head off court looking tired and worn out she waved to them happily calling out, "Great work today you guys!" The few girls which weren't in the changing room waved back and shouted some kind thank yous before following their fellow team mates. They had such high spirits. Then the guys walked in, sighing she rolled her eyes, allowing her concentration to fall onto them, sure they were muscular, but they just didn't have enough stamina. Watching as they rolled out a cart of basketballs she noticed at once that they were goofing off. Feeling disgusted she stood to her feet, her arms on her hips and called out, voice filled with annoyance, "Stop messing around you idiots!" Geez did they have no dignity. Some didn't even bother to look up, but some only glanced up for a second shooting her a dirty look. Sitting back down she watched as they slowly began to practice for a change. Crossing her arms she continued to observe them like a hawk.
