[PTab=BIOGRAPHY]
destroy the middle it's a waste of time
history lesson
kaela was born as the first child of two newly weds. a young woman named amalia, and a young man named tanner. they were thrilled to be starting a family, starting with a beautiful baby they both adored. kaela's first few years of life were ones to remember. her mother quit her job to become a house wife for the time being, and spent every minute with her baby, whether it was letting her color with crayons or playing with their dog, an old labrador named buddy. when she grew to the age of about six, kaela and her mother tended to dance together to their favorite songs, skipping around the kitchen and singing.
the two of them had a very close relationship, all the way up until kaela had turned eight. when she hit that age, amalia discovered she was pregnant again. the thought of having a younger sibling to occupy her was thrilling and exciting to kaela. it meant spending less time with her mother and her father...but she'd eventually get over it, and start hanging out with friends instead. at least, that's what she thought until the day her mother was rushed to the hospital to go into labor. several hours of struggle passed, until the baby way finally delivered. but amalia had been discovered dead after falling asleep on the hospital bed.
the baby had also died on it's way out of the womb. kaela didn't know this until her father came home several days later, and told her straight out. considering she was young, she didn't quite understand it at first, so she grew worried why her mother didn't come home. instead she was watched by a nanny. she would bug her father, asking him where her mother was, up until the day she turned ten. at that point, she understood. her mother, her best friend...was dead. she spent the rest of her days depressed and lonely, avoiding her friends and other students within school.
when she was enrolled into middle school, she opened up a bit more, but not completely. her friends still noticed her emotions that often broke out during school, as she would ask to go to the rest room for a bit. they tried their best to comfort her when she explained the reasons why, but until she hit high school, it didn't matter much to her.
as a freshman, she learned to put her past behind her.
extra credit
if you're wondering, kaela developed the name "lillib" from a friend during her freshman year. he used to call her little bird, but then resorted to the nickname lillib instead.
