Would-be Renaissance man with a flare for the culinary arts. Allan came to the academy with the intent of taking as much experience from it as he could and applying it to his own craft. While not sure where his life will lead him in the future, one thing is certain: all the worlds cooking is his to explore. He's often found honing his skills in the schools home economics room or cooking just about anywhere. He even carries around a portable grill, one of his most prized possessions next to a keenly sharpened cutting knife and a sketch book containing all of his ideas.
Allan's a brazen little brat with a fierce sense of competition. He pushes himself to be at the top in whatever he sets his mind to, but will often fall back into a calmer laid back demeanor after all is said and done. He doesn't really have a sense of tact, having grown up in a busy kitchen. He doesn't read feelings easily and will sometimes end up steppingtrampling on them if they're laid at his feet. This makes it hard to get along with him at first, and makes him more enemies than friends. It's hard not to get swept up in his current though, and sometimes it finds you rather than you stepping into it.

Think you can keep up? While not the most gentle of people, you can count on Allan to be up front and honest with you. He's reliable and doesn't stop for nothing, so having him by your side in a tough spot is a good indication that you'll make it through the day. Don't be off-put if you find his personality overwhelming. If you're willing to dive in and see where things go, you'll get along great.

The enemy of man is one who can't pull their own weight, and one who keeps others from pulling theirs. Allan is a firm believer that every second is precious and doesn't tolerate dawdling or lollygagging. While he's willing to help people follow at a reasonable pace, those who refuse to cooperate aren't worth the trouble. At the same time, those who think themselves above others and try to bring them further down are worth even less. Hartford has a fierce disposition towards three kinds of people. The slow, the inflexible, and the competition.

If there's anything Allan yearns for, it's someone to challenge his every skill to its limits. Both a rival and a friend that he can compete with for undetermined supremacy. While he wouldn't think it as something like love, people viewing from the outside are free to think of it as they wish.
