[attr="class","eyes"] | S.TEACHER - ABOUT MAGGIE - As a math student teacher, Maggie is entering Regency for the first time. While excited to be teaching at the academy she does have her insecurities about it. As a deaf person she has had her fair share of challenges and surely more lie in her future. - FRIENDSHIPS - Maggie is always open to meeting new people and making friends. It's really not too difficult to get along with her so long as you have a little patience. In return the girl would give the shirt off of her back to help a friend in need. She'll always be there to be a shoulder to cry on and despite her disability, she will always lend an ear to what others might have to say. She'll definitely want to make friends with fellow student teachers but also especially her students. Definitely a much needed and wanted category! I'm open to pretty much any and all ideas so feel free to throw whatever you have in mind at me. Friendships plots are wide open! - HATESHIPS - For the most part, Maggie is a pretty passive person and tends to try and avoid conflict. If anything most of the insults and criticism just gets bottled up inside until she can't hold it in anymore. But if there is one thing the girl cannot stand, it's bullies. Maggie doesn't really make a big deal out of other people teasing her but the second she finds someone else being hurt she's not afraid to step in and be the bad guy. I'd love to see a bully type in her class and how she ends up having to deal with them. Better yet even, the bully could not only terrorize other students but also Maggie behind her back and make the year a little bit more of a challenge to get through successfully. - LOVERS - Love is a bit of a tricky thing for Maggie. She certainly doesn't try to actively avoid any and all love interests but rather that she's a bit scared. She wants to be loved for who she is, not loved despite her flaws. Because of this fear she doesn't search out relationships and instead insists that the right person will come at the right time. That way she can save her heart from unnecessary breakage. As terrible as it may sound, I want Maggie to go through a relationship and get her heart broken. She likes to think she lives in ideal little world where everything works out eventually and everything happens for a reason and it would be interesting to see that shaken up. - OTHERS - One last thing I was considering was having her step sibling be a student at the academy. Oh and better yet, they could be in her class. Maggie was always jealous of having a 'normal' sibling so having them there at the academy she teaches at would make for quite an interesting plot. [attr="class","eyes"] | SENIOR - ABOUT KIMI - Now in her senior year and dead set on the position of valedictorian, Kimi Harada will do anything to get her way. She's a pathological liar, extremely cold and all around just a huge jerk. It's probably best to steer clear of this girl but what fun would that be? - FRIENDSHIPS - If you're looking for a loving friend who cares about you and will be there for you no matter what, well, sorry to say but you've come to the wrong place. Kimi has her fair share of 'friends' but to her they're really just people she finds useful to surround herself with. If she deems someone to be useless, annoying or a waste of her time, she will make no hesitation in letting it be known and quickly shove them aside. Kimi isn't at regency to make friends, she never was, she's there to learn. She doesn't know how to be a good friend and why start learning now? Friendships can go two ways. It can either go with Kimi being the bestest but fakest friend you ever had, or you could be what she sees as a pesty when you're just trying to get her to like you. I'd love to see someone break her shell eventually but there's a reason Kimi built the walls around herself so high. She's quite insecure but she'll never let it show. - HATESHIPS - Making enemies is like second nature of Kimi. Whether it's with the friends she dumped or the second half in the relationships she heartlessly ended the people who have crossed paths with Kimi in the past are sure to raise conflict. But even people she just happens to rub the wrong way because of her pompous attitude and academic rivals are sure to add to Kimi's long list of enemies.But the girl wouldn't be fearless about making enemies if she wasn't more than sure that she could handle them either mentally of physically. Oh enemies. This is probably the most open category for Kimi. I'd especially like to see someone who makes the girl go completely nuts. Maybe even cause her to *gasp* get a B on a test or something like that. So don't be afraid and come at me with plot ideas! - LOVERS - As if a genuine friendship wasn't difficult enough. Kimi opening up her heart to true love is an even bigger joke. To Kimi, love is impractical. It takes too much time and effort and for what? Of course, come holidays such as Christmas, Valentines day and her birthday, Kimi is going to be searching out for her next victim but all hopes of genuine love are for naught. While she may make a pretty convincing show there's about a million other things she'd rather do than to fall in love with some shmuck. So the lovers category is an absolute train wreck. But I really kind of want to play out something Kare Kano style where in comes an academic rival and she absolutely hates his guts but he admits that he has a crush on her. Kimi would immediately dismiss it but if he was stubborn enough she would give him a chance and eventually melt her stone cold heart. Obviously it would take a lot of time and it would by no means be easy but in the end it would make for the cutest plot. - OTHERS - As of right now, I can't think of any other plot ideas I have in mind for Kimi but if you have something that doesn't really fit into one of the above be sure to throw it at me! [attr="class","eyes"] | freshman - ABOUT - Coming from a troubled past Cayden has secluded himself to his own little world. Scared to trust and feeling as though he's an unwanted nuisance to people he distances himself form others despite wanting to have close and meaningful relationships. - FRIENDSHIPS - Despite being shy and very cautious, Cayden is by no means adverse to friends. He tends to be very possessive and jealous when he sees one of his friends with other people. He will hide his feelings and expect friends to understand why he's upset without him actually having to talk about his feelings. But despite his faults, he is very loyal and caring to those he cares about. He'd bend over backwards just to make them happy. But he needs constant reassurance that he's still friends with you and that you haven't started to hate him yet.
Someone needs to get Cayden out of his shell a bit. He needs someone to trust and confide in. He needs someone who can make him feel worthwhile because by just being himself and being there to be a shoulder to cry on or a smiling face he makes his friend's day better. So the boy needs a lot of friends, hopefully good ones but it would also be fun to see him go through a few bad ones as well.- HATESHIPS -As a relatively passive boy, Cayden probably won't have a lot of enemies but there are a few kinds of people who will get him flustered and angry. Anyone who tries to exact change in his life is going to be met with underlying hatred, and so will people who abandon him. He's had plenty of that. But the boy isn't one to fight back against anyone. He'll just try to avoid the conflict and hope it goes away while self pitying himself.
Hateships is one of my favorite categories. If there were a few friends who were trying to get Cayden out of his narrow little comfort zone whether for better or worse I would love to challenge this kid, get him mad and flustered and maybe even grow a spine and try to stand up for himself for once. - LOVERS - Love is... not something Cayden is willing to risk his heart for. He's terrified enough of losing friends, but taking it one step further into love is just something the boy is too scared of to even think about doing. But that's not to say he hasn't considered the possibility. He loves the idea of love. He loves the idea of cuddling all night long, caring for his SO when they're sick and showering them with little gifts. But, who would want to love him? He thinks he'll hurt the person he loves. After all, the ones we love the most are those we can hurt the worst.
This category would take a lot of work to get into. I really have no set plot idea in mind, so I really would love to hear what thoughts you might suggest. I mean, there's a lot of ways it can go but no matter what I want hella drama and angst because this category definitely opens up the chance to play with some really raw and intense emotions and why not take the opportunity? - OTHERS - The only other thing I can think of to do would be perhaps a tutor? Cayden is god awful at school and homework, especially math and struggles with being able to just pass a class so he'd definitely need a mentor to help him out.
Besides that, there isn't really much else I have in mind specifically for Cayden but if you have an idea that doesn't really fit into one of the above categories, please shoot it at me! I'd love to hear about any of the plots you have in mind! | [attr="class","big"]  |

 After some rambling and finally getting into Ziba's character flow, I came around to envision her as someone that is surprisingly super intelligent courtesy of a visual photographic memory. She can remember pretty much everything she sees and reads, so in turn, she's never really had to study - unless she doesn't understand what she remembers - to get the high grades that she currently has. If anything, the only reason her grades ever struggle is an act of just procrastinating / not willing to do the work. Ziba isn't one to try and steal the show, but she does enjoy being on the front lines of the action so if she does, it's by accident. Her and Kimi are in many ways totally opposite from each other, but they share a few similar traits. While Kimi is intelligent and arrogant, Ziba is intelligent but only seemingly confident. Kimi is a cold liar that secretly seeks companionship while Ziba is friendly with everyone but is sometimes brutally honest. So with all of this in mind, after reading about Kimi, I can't help but feel like Kimi and Ziba have a lot of potential for an interesting relationship.
It starts with maybe their freshmen year, Kimi having a resolve to abandon her middle school drama is in a class with Ziba. Somehow they end up sitting next to each other and frequently end up being partners for various projects. Unfortunately for Kimi, Ziba sleeps in class all the time, so for the first project, she was ready to do the whole entire thing herself when out of no where, Ziba just unloads this mountain of knowledge about the subject and explains the parts she can do like she was the one used to having to do entire projects by herself. For a moment, it seems like the start of a beautiful friendship, but then comes the problem of Ziba's personality.
"Ohayo Kimi-san!"
". . . Good morning, but I told you to call me Kim."
"Kimi-san sounds cuter though."
Ziba may be smart and do her part, but she quickly grated on Kim's nerves the entirety of freshmen year. Leaving that class was a sigh of relief for the fact of not having to hear 'Kimi-chan' every morning. However, even after that, they'd occasionally end up in the same advance classes, and in a way, Ziba was almost on par with Kimi in terms of being top of the class, but Ziba's own procrastination cost her that. Regardless though, the constant having to put up with Ohayo Kimi-san eventually turning into Oi Kimi-chan! is the bane of Kimi's existence but this hatred / loathing is almost entirely one sided. Ziba actually really admires Kimi, despite how bitterly cold she is straight to Ziba's face. Ziba has grown to a point where she's incredibly hard to crack, offend, embarrass, etc. No matter how many times Kimi basically tells Ziba to fuck off, the other girl eventually wanders her way back like a puppy with a happy grin and excitedly ready to ramble about nonsense.
So basically, ending my potential backstory set up on that note, the general plot I'm proposing is a one sided Loathing and one sided Admiration type scenario that could potentially evolve into a friendship between these two given Ziba's ability to not get bothered that easily and Kimi just needing at least someone that would get shut down by her bitterness.
Of course, feel free to edit anything that's not accurate or just tell me flat out if you're not interested, or even suggest we go a totally different route with this set up. Anastasia x caydenmentor/student + FRIEND [attr="class","scroll-light"] Right! So Alysya loves math and Cayden pretty much sucks at it. Maybe a teacher assigned her to help her underclassman, or maybe Cayden asked? They probably already know each other. Anyway, they'd meet up in the library or dorms to get some studying done, and Alysya being rather sweet and outspoken will try to get him out of his shell. Their relationship would gradually shift to friends as she'll push him to assist her with her mechanics, get him to join her on outings or be her accomplice in executing her little pranks.
She's be all sweet and touchy, but what would Cayden think of her? |

Sorry, I meant to post in here earlier, but got distracted. orz But math teachers must stick together! /o/ Overall, I think Emmett would get along extremely well with Maggie? They're very much alike in many ways, so I think they'd be good friends. I can see them both nerding out over math with each other. He'd probably even ask her to teach him a bit of ASL too. Maybe she could help out in his class from time to time? But that's just a thought. Feel free to add/subtract anything you like!

ZIBA & KIMI
Oh wow. Interesting relationship is an understatement! Right now I'm just imagining Kimi's reaction to seeing Ziba in another one of her classes yet again, crushing all her hopes of getting the pesky brunette out of her hair for her last year but alas, no luck. Secretly she would be happy, seeing a familiar face who, despite being constantly given her the cold shoulder, is still glad to see her. But instead she's going to act pissed off and smack Ziba with a textbook saying, "Will you ever cognize to refer to me as Kim?" She really cannot stand being called Kimi but I think with Ziba doing it enough she would just get used to it and though it probably infuriated her the first two years she probably just learned to ignore it, so long as no one else dare call her that. I would laugh if Ziba got some of her otaku club members so start calling her Kimi-chan causing Kimi to have to seriously sit her down and say,
"Only you can call me Kimi-chan."
"Why only me?"
"..." Oh tsunderes. I think it would be a very hesitant friendship. Kimi would never want to admit that she actually doesn't mind being around Ziba since after four years she still doesn't hate her and I'm sure the admiration thing isn't going to get lost on Kimi, she loves that kind of shit. But at the same time she's going to see her as a rival. You know the saying, keep your friends close and your enemies closer? That's probably exactly what's going through Kimi's mind with Ziba. Essentially she is a threat to her goals and in the worst kind of way. While Ziba may act silly and carefree, she is actually quite adept with academics and Kimi cannot stand that. She seems so happy and friendly and she still gets top marks? One misstep could destroy her and all to a 'meddling fool'.
This could either end well, with Kimi finally making a genuine friend or her letting her emotions get the better of her and Kimi ends up lashing out at Ziba and pushing herself farther away. But I think that really depends on how this all ends up playing out which really is tbd. But I love what you suggested so far and I'd love to get these to together in threads asap ♥
ANASTASIA & CAYDEN
Oooh yay a mentor! It would be hilarious if they had been in the same math class freshman year, but since Cayden failed and he's stuck in the same class a teacher tells him that he'll need to have a mentor and sets him up with Alysya. It would be pretty embarrassing for him but one way or another he needs to pass. It would be really cute to see their relationship develop from just straight up student and mentor to Alysya trying to get Cayden out more and bring him out of his comfort zone a bit. Of course he'll be resistant at first but with enough coaxing who is he to say no? I could totally see him developing a little bit of a crush on her because he sees her as incredibly smart, talented, beautiful and patient with all of his stupid questions being the secret romantic cancer he is but he would never act on it. But regardless I see him getting very clingy to Anastasia and every time he has a problem with schoolwork, math or otherwise he's going to go to her.
EMMETT & MAGGIE
I know that feel, I totally don't blame you x3 And yes! Math teachers unite! I'm sure they would make fast friends right off the bat simply because they're both teaching math and whatnot. Eventually I just see Maggie going to Emmett's room during lunch and they could be massive math dorks and solve math problems and Maggie could teach him ASL. I think helping out teacher wise could go both ways, like Maggie helping Emmett with grading or other things around the classroom and Emmett could give her pointers on how to handle her classroom or how to teach different concepts and such. An easy an natural feeling friendship is really what I see for these two and it's great. Anything else to add?

Jeez, sorry for the late reply! But that sounds perfect. Them nerding out over math sounds hilariously fun. Like imagine them conspiring to come up with difficult questions for the math exam *shot*. ▶ Okay so since Reiko loves almost all the teachers I believe that she would get alone well with Maggie. She loves math, and also just learning in general. Often sometimes she even likes to stay after class to do some work for fun. Although from time to time Reiko does correct the teachers I think they could get along. Since Maggie is kind this shouldn't be too hard for them to speak together without hostility , as long as she doesn't do anything stupid or flirts with other teachers then I could see a friendship forming. ulla ▶ Okay so in general Reiko doesn't like boys, but since he is shy and kind I could see the two of them getting along. Maybe they could have been middle school friends or something. Although of course if he does anything annoying or boy like she will get generally upset but of course forgive him.
