This was at least the fifth time she'd walked up to the man behind the counter, asking yet another question that she could have Googled. At first he'd sort of smiled at her. Polite, maybe even amused. Then, by the third, he'd answered her question seemingly out of obligation.
Now, he seemed impossibly fascinated by his computer. Cecilia didn't dare interrupt, though her blue eyes darted over to him, waiting for him to glance anywhere but the computer. His dedication was admirable- he was rooted to whatever he'd pulled onto the screen.
So, she did the next best thing. Pulling out a silver cell phone, she dialed Rasmus' number. When he answered, she rattled off her next question to him.
"Ras, what's the difference between the letters on the router? There's n, and g, and b, and ac." Cecilia quizzed, quieting while Ras responded.
"What do you mean you don't know? ... Well, do you think higher or lower's better?" Another pause.
"Alright, so, somewhere in the middle? B or g?" The blond persisted, hoping to validate her arbitrary choice. A final pause followed, concluded with a "kay bye." With that, Ces slipped her red motorolla crazer back into her pocket, turning her attention back to the deceptively disimiliar router boxes within the electronics store.
