“Hey.”Alida glanced up and pulled herself from her inner thoughts when she heard someone calling to her. To her surprise, as she glanced to her left she spotted the girl from yesterday. She had dark brown hair and brown eyes—and looked to be a couple of years older than her. “Hey, what’s up?” Alida answered and watched as the girl walked over to take a seat beside her on the bleachers. It was the girl from yesterday who had also spoken up during that one kid’s ridiculous outburst. Alida still couldn’t believe that her brother, Gareth, just so happened to be in their group. “By the way, my name’s Felicity.”“Oh—Alida,” She introduced herself in return and offered Felicity a smile as she folded her arms over her knees. “We were pretty cool yesterday, huh?” She asked her with a hearty laugh. Speaking of her brother’s man posse—one of the guys from the group actually came over to join in on their conversation. Alida glanced forward and toward the blond boy before she unconsciously glanced around for the other. He didn’t seem to be in class yet, although she was certain he’d come barreling in soon. He was a bit awkward, and stupid, and funny—but then also extremely lame? “If only Gareth had spoken up then I might not have made such a terrible assumption. I’m Nicolas by the way.” The male offered and Alida briefly mused over the prospect of still not giving her name. But amusing idea lasted for only a second and with a shrug of her shoulders she finally let Nicolas know who she was. “Alida,” She said simply and then propped her chin atop the palm of her hand. “In all seriousness, though, me and my brother seem to have a hate-hate relationship. So, you’ll most likely be seeing more of me in the future.” Because I love to piss him off, hung in the air unsaid but nonetheless hinted at given the context of the comment. “Suddenly I’m glad to be an only child,” Nicolas remarked and although Alida could hear the amusement within his tone, she couldn’t help but seriously wonder about the statement. However, only after a second she decided against it. Although she didn’t get along with Gareth—because he had decided she was the spawn of the devil or some other dumb sh**—she did get along with her eldest brother Fionn. And not to mention if she had had to deal with her mother and father on her own… God she couldn’t imagine how screwed up she would be right now. “So you're interested in the whole ‘tennis’ scene?” Nicolas asked and the atmosphere oddly turned casual and relaxed. “Uh, well, I guess I thought why not,” Alida answered with a light-hearted chuckle and her gaze unconsciously roamed from Nicolas to Felicity and then back again. “I mean I enjoy sports and Tennis seemed like fun.”[ OOC n/a | PARTICIPANTS Alida & Nicolas ] NICOLAS CONIUM |

Felicity actually began getting ready to interject and join the conversation directly after Nicolas’ statement. However, she was cut off as another teenager entered the gymnasium and dashed over to the area their class was located. The dark haired boy—the one from yesterday, actually—immediately joined their conversation and made a comment about them all talking about him. Unfortunately, Alida noticed the guy as much as he noticed her—which was kind of strange. But then again, she supposed she had garnered the attention of practically everyone sitting at that table yesterday. “Heeey,” Alida responded nonchalantly to the other guy but then purposely dramatically paused to narrow her gaze and point a finger at him as she asked: “Today—girl or boy?”[ OOC n/a | PARTICIPANTS Alida & Nicolas ] NICOLAS CONIUM |

“Ouch, right there in the heart, man.” Nicolas’ friend immediately feigned heartbreak as he dramatically grasped at his heart. “I ain’t nothing but a man. How many times I gotta tell ya that?”Alida heartily laughed while Nicolas smacked his friend and told him to cool the over-dramatics. “I just wanted to make sure,” She told him but all three of their attentions were soon diverted to Felicity when Nicolas’ friend brought up the appearance of the new girl. “Felicity,” The dark haired teenager easily interjected and would have said more if the tennis instructor hadn’t arrived. Her and Felicity had actually gotten to talking during their time together, and Alida had learned that the brunette was actually a part of the academy’s Tennis team. Felicity had decided this year to take the Tennis course as a fun pastime since she enjoyed the sport. That information was somewhat fascinating to Alida—good for her! It was somehow uplifting to hear that she was having fun in a class. Her and Felicity soon exited the girl’s changing room—oh, and Alida had learned that yes they do have showers. And yes you could take one before your next class. “Well this ought to be fun,” Alida laughed and poised her two hands together to feign swing an invisible tennis racket. “I can’t wait to see how horrible I am.”Despite the joke, Alida was truly all pumped for this. She loved sports! As her and Felicity stepped in line with the rest of the students from the class, the two of them spotted Nicolas and his man friend whom she still hadn’t learned the name of. “Hey, how good are the two of you?” She asked them casually as she pressed her back against the brick wall of the school building and smirked their way. Nicolas’ friend immediately proclaimed that he had ‘mad’ tennis skills and Nicolas’ comment in return caused both her and Felicity to laugh and snicker good-naturedly. “Why you gotta do me like that?” The dark haired bloke defended and then turned to them and swore once more that he knew how to play the game and in fact had done it professionally when he was younger. This intrigued Felicity as she was immediately interjecting: “Sweet, then play me.”“Coach did say pairings are girl-boy,” Alida added helpfully and with a laugh.
