— To the world, his family wasn’t anything special. It was your everyday, average household; a businessman dad, a housewife mother and two tiny siblings to grate on your nerves. They hailed from the Netherlands, moving to America for work.

— It was often that they moved from state to state… place to place. Dominick and his family never had much time to truly settle in the communities they happened to stop at. Whilst kids were envious of him seeing much of the States, he wanted nothing more than to settle.

— There was one thing, however, that kept things together: his passion for soccer. It ran in his blood—through his veins—and he had started as a wee lad, urged on by the support of his parents who adored the sport.

— Turns out that Dominick was quite good at the sport; a prodigy of sorts that stood atop the local rankings. Everyone in that world who knew him was confident that they had a rising star, someone whom would be fought over for scholarships to various schools. It was luck whenever he had happened to change, sometimes drifting from team to team until he finally was able to stick with the same one the final two years of middle school.

— That was when tragedy struck in the form of an overused knee. The burden he put upon his shoulders was enough to harm the joint. Just the wrong move… the collision of bodies and it was done for. Due to the weakness of his right knee, the injury was more-so severe than it should have been. His hopes for a education focusing around the sport were destroyed in a matter of minutes. Years of work… gone.

— Dominick was forced to shift his attention to studying. That was how he coped. He stuck his nose in a book whilst his knee was out of commission. It was later that he enrolled into Regency Academy as a freshman, entering it strongly due to the dormitories so he needn’t move again with his household’s constant traveling.


— Nick is able to understand and hold basic conversations in Dutch.

— Due to the injury/wear in his right knee, he tends to limp and favor it. It is more noticeable if he has been on his feet for a long period of time. He often times wears a brace.
