oliver is a very guarded person. he's very good at lying and manipulating, and even better at keeping secrets. he's very hesitant when it comes to trust, but he's not at all a quiet or introverted person. 

family life for oliver is a struggle. he's a big fat disappointment to his parents, which has forced him to striving for perfection in the things that he's good at. he also attempts to take control of his body through an eating disorder, and is quite visibly underweight, but not enough so that it's alarming. 

relationships

oliver loves being the center of attention. he's charming and witty and a really nice guy most of the time. he likes people, and though he's hardly ever genuine, he won't hesitate to make friends with anybody around him.

of course, he can be super annoying at times, and he he's all about physical contact, so if that's not your thing, it's best to keep your distance he has a tendency to purposefully annoy people once he knows he's gotten to them.

he's also captain of the tennis team (and ranked top of the ladder, just try to beat him), so if you're on the team, you're basically forced into some sort of friend/acquaintanceship with him. there's really no way to stop it, at that point.

as far as romance goes, oliver tries to avoid it as much as possible. he's all for hookups and quick fucks (because it's attention and it makes him feel good about himself for 0.05 seconds), but anything further scares him a lot. thing is, he's got a pretty big crush on his best friend, which isn't going away any time soon... so that sucks... but yeah. as far as romance goes, he's currently on a slow, one-way ride to awkwardville with dominick.

other

he has an older sister who his parents rave over. she's literally perfect and it's gross. i assume she'd either be a student teacher, or a young teacher if she were to join love notes, but unless anybody has a burning desire to make her, she's not too important.

dakota is basically a giant walking, talking traffic light. he wears neon colors and gets people's attention. he loves making friends and being awesome. plus, he's really cute.

he's a dorky country bumpkin who's also transgender, so hey, that's pretty neat. he also likes cute things and pop music and is probably the dictionary definition of fukboi, but whatever.

did i mention he's from the country and has a cute accent? because he totally does ~

relationships

dakota is the friendliest guy you'll ever meet. he went through middle school with very few - if any - friends, so he's trying to make up for it now by befriending everyone he can. plus everyone at regency is way nicer than his old school, so that's good. 

dumb as hell. okay, not completely... but if you're not into stupid people (or stupid comments), chances are you won't like dakota, much. also if you bully him, he'll 10/10 try to kick your ass. that shit just ain't tolerated, okay?

romance... well, first off you'd have to be okay with him being trans. second, he's literally broke as shit. his dad has a terrible city job and his parents are literally busting their asses to pay for dakota's school, so he's 100% broke. yeah. no taking pretty girls on dates over here... of course, like any teenage boy, dakota is all for flirting with people - and not just girls, his romantic interests lie all across the board; he doesn't discriminate. idk what i have in store for dakota, romance-wise, but it'll be a long grueling slow-burn type thing. because that's obvs the best.
