REIKO HOTARU

Reiko was born in the upper class part of Italy, which she stayed for most of her life until she entered 7th grade in middle school. In Italy she was well known as the daughter of the rich and famous Hotarus. She had never liked the attention which she had gotten which is the main reason she left. Although that all comes later.

In her young childhood years she had began studying with her mentor/teacher: Lizabeth. Learning came so naturally to her, it was almost as if she could learn by instinct. Although she did struggle in home ec. and social studies. Her best subject by far had been gym. She was already athletic so it wasn't too hard for her. She also had begun to take aikido lessons at the age 5 where she would practice almost everyday to get as good as possible. By the age of 8 she had almost mastered aikido completely.

As she entered elementary school most kids would look up to her as a super human. Although she never did understand why, she would have just liked to be treated as a normal human being. She would always uphold rules and expectations to the max, it almost made her seem like a teacher. She attended a private school in Italy called: St. Martha's school for excellent and gifted children or STEG. There she was able to perfect her lessons, gain more knowledge and was even featured in a rising star magazine. As you can expect this was all so confusing to Reiko.

As she entered middle school she began to envy all the other students and how they could have fun while she had barely no friends, but only fans, she hated this. So her 6th grade year is known as the dark year. She ignored her fellow students consuming herself in her studies to the max so she would be able to move to Japan over the next year. Not telling her parents about her plans, she secretly ordered a plane ticket to Japan and flew there over the summer, signing up for a public school which was unfortunately made up of almost all guys. Oh yah I forgot to mention, during her 4th grade year she began to hate guys since she realized how childish and gross they were. Although Reiko respected the fact that she was able to even attend a school like itself. She had made many friends and was admired throughout the school but not for the same reason, now she was a normal girl who was super smart, knew aikido, and worked hard!

She has now happily entered high school as a junior and is currently studying and busy being a 'normal student' even though her parents still want her to come home! <3
